Saladebrocoli
Saladebrocoli. Pour the prepared dressing over and mix well. This is a version of the classic broccoli salad with the addition of cauliflower.
Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving. Stir in mayonnaise mixture and gently toss to combine. Ours uses a combination of canola mayonnaise and Greek yogurt to keep the calories in check.
In a large bowl combine broccoli florets, diced red onion, cooked bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
Also, to add a little more veggie crunch, I add thinly sliced cabbage.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Parboil broccoli; cool and cut into bite-size pieces. Toss broccoli: Immediately pour oil mix over broccoli.
